Rehobeth Beach, DE - The Hofstra women's golf team finished in ninth place following the final round of Battle at the Creek Tuesday. The Pride placed only two strokes behind LaSalle during the three-round competition in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware. 

Mount St. Mary's took the team title at 954 (+102), while Monmouth came in second just four strokes behind. 

Hofstra's Sadie Anderson led the Pride to finish tied for 24th at 248 (+35) following scores of 84-81-83. Regina Cantu Chavez finished tied for 29th at 252 (+39), while Claire Galante was tied for 33rd place. Mai Takahashi shot rounds of 83-88-90 to finish in 40th out of the 50-player field, while Hannah Morello came in 48th at 283 (+70).

Hofstra will be back on the course for the Navy Fall Invitational from Sept. 28-29 in Annapolis, Maryland.
