Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra volleyball team will begin CAA play this weekend when the Pride heads east to face Stony Brook for a pair of matches. 

The Pride and the Seawolves will battle from Pritchard Gymnasium on Friday and Saturday night with both contests beginning at 6:30 p.m.

FloVolleyball will broadcast both matches and WRHU (88.7 FM) will have an audio-only broadcast available for Friday's contest. Links to both, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the volleyball schedule page on GoHofstra.com. 

Hofstra is 4-5 this season after a 2-2 week that saw the Pride defeat Army West Point and Sacred Heart, while falling to Binghamton and Bryant. 

Stony Brook is 7-2 entering this weekend's matches. The Seawolves most recently went 2-1 at the URI Tournament, defeating Harvard and Rhode Island and dropping a match to Northern Illinois. 

Hofstra is 12-3 all-time against Stony Brook. The Seawolves won both matches a season ago but prior to that, the Pride had won 11 consecutive matches in the series.
