Hofstra Continues Homestand Sunday Versus Yale

| By:
Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's soccer team continues their three-game homestand, all against Ivy League opponents, Sunday against Yale. The game is the second of the homestand and kicks off at 3:30 p.m. The game will stream live on FloFC with live statistics also available.

Hofstra (0-0-2) drew for the second consecutive match Friday afternoon with a scoreless tie against Columbia. Mackenzie Sullivan made three saves for the Pride to post the clean sheet. The back-to-back ties to start the season mark the first time in the 32-year history of the program that Hofstra has done that.

Yale will be playing their season opener Sunday. The Bulldogs are coming off a 5-6-5 season in 2023. Yale holds a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series against Hofstra and picked up a win in the last meeting during the 2017 season.

Following Sunday's game, the Pride will be off until a 1 p.m. game against Brown Thursday (August 29) at Hofstra Soccer Stadium.
