| By:
Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will begin its quest for a Coastal Athletic Association Championship on Sunday when the Pride plays its first game in the quarterfinals. As one of the top four seeds in the championship, Hofstra has a double bye into the quarterfinals.

The number three-seeded Pride will face the winner of the Delaware/Elon or Hampton game at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 10. Elon and Hampton will meet on Friday in the first round and the winner advances to face Delaware in the second round on Saturday.

The entire five-day tournament is being played at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. The first round, second round, and quarterfinals will all air on FloHoops.

If the Pride advances, the semifinals will be at 8:30 p.m. on Monday and the title game is Tuesday at 7 p.m. The semifinal and championship game will air nationally on the CBS Sports Network. WRHU will have audio-only coverage as well.

Hofstra concluded the regular season with a 19-12 overall record and a CAA mark of 12-6.

The Pride will be looking for its second CAA title after capturing the league title in 2020.
