EIWA Announces Championship Pre-Seeds, NCAA Allocations

Hempstead, NY - The Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association announced its championship pre-seeds and the number of NCAA Championship allocations the league has received. The 2024 EIWA Championships get underway Friday at Bucknell University with a start time of 10:30 a.m.

Hofstra's weight class seeding for the championships are as follows:

125 Pounds: Dylan Acevedo-Switzer - 13
133 Pounds: Dylan Ryder - 13
141 Pounds: Alex Turley - 17
149 Pounds: Noah Tapia - 8
157 Pounds: Jurius Clark - 6
165 Pounds: Jake Slotnick - 10
174 Pounds: Ross McFarland - 10
184 Pounds: Will Conlon - 13
197 Pounds: Nikolas Miller - 13
285 Pounds: Keaton Kluever - 4

The EIWA received a total of 53 NCAA Championships allocations, eight more than last season, with the breakdown as follows:

125 Pounds: 5
133 Pounds: 5
141 Pounds: 4
149 Pounds: 4
157 Pounds: 3
165 Pounds: 5
174 Pounds: 6
184 Pounds: 7
197 Pounds: 6
285 Pounds: 8
