Berlin, MD - The Hofstra men's golf team concluded play at the Battle At Rum Pointe, hosted by Iona, on Saturday.
Eugene Kang led the Pride to finish 16th in the 18-team field with a two-round score of 640 (+64).
Kang finished tied for 37th place at 155 (+11) after a second round 73 (+1).
Joseph Giamanco and
Vincent Apostolico both finished at 162 (+18) to tie for 76th. Giamanco shot a second round 81 (+9), while Apostolico shot a 78 (+6) on Saturday.
Taishi Shigaki finished tied for 80th at 163 (+19), while
Jaxon Hummel finished tied for 83rd at 164 (+20).
LaSalle's Ben Battye took the individual title at 137 (-7). LaSalle led the team competition at 590 (+14).
Hofstra is back on the course on April 13 for Columbia University's Roar-EE Invitational.
