Hempstead, NY - The NCAA Wrestling Championships get underway Thursday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, with Hofstra's Keaton Kluever (285 pounds) in action. Session I of the NCAA Championships gets underway at 11 a.m. (CDT) and will air on ESPNU. Session II will begin at 6 p.m. (CDT) and air on ESPN. Action continues with two sessions on Friday and Saturday. All sessions will also be streamed on ESPN+. Live results can be found on TrackWrestling.

Kluever, who earned an automatic berth by placing eighth at the EIWA Championships, is making his first NCAA appearance and is seeded No. 24. The graduate transfer is in his first year with the Pride and posted a 15-5 record. He will take on No. 9 seed Nick Feldman of Ohio State. The two met in November with Feldman scoring a tech fall victory.

Hofstra has sent 213 wrestlers to the NCAA Championships during its 76-year history and has had 30 place-winners. Michael Hughes was the last Hofstra wrestler to earn a podium spot, placing sixth in 2018.
