Hempstead, NY – In the final home game of the 2023-24 season for the Hofstra women's basketball team, the Pride gets set to host last season's CAA champions Monmouth on Sunday, March 3.

Hofstra dropped to 9-17 and 3-12 in the CAA after a 48-42 home loss to Hampton Friday evening. Ineza paced the Pride with 13 points, and
Zyheima Swint grabbed 12 rebounds against the Lady Pirates.
Winners of four straight, Monmouth are18-8 and 11-4 in league play. The Hawks are led in scoring by Kaci Donovan with 12.7 points per game.
Sunday will be the 15th all-time meeting between Hofstra, and just the third since the turn of the millennium. The Hawks defeated Hofstra both times last season, putting the series record to 9-5 in favor of Monmouth.
