So We Meet Again; Hofstra And Drexel Meet For Second Time In A Week

| By:
Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team has another incredibly important contest on the schedule as the Pride will host Drexel on Thursday. The game will air nationally on the CBS Sports Network.

Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m.

For ticket information visit HofstraTickets.com, call (516) HOF-TIXX, or visit the Hofstra Athletics Ticket Office in the lobby of the Mack Sports Complex during normal business hours.

In addition to the national television audience, WRHU will also have an audio-only broadcast available on 88.7 FM on a tape delayed broadcast. Links to both, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the men's basketball schedule page at GoHofstra.com.

The Pride sits in fourth place in the CAA standings, just a game behind Drexel and UNCW for second place.

Hofstra improved to 16-11 overall and 9-5 in CAA action with an 82-62 rout of Northeastern on Saturday. It was the Jaquan Carlos show as he had a program and CAA record 19 assists in the game, while Darlinstone Dubar led all scorers with 24 points for the Pride.

Drexel is 17-10 and 10-4 in the league following an 81-66 home win over Campbell on Saturday. Luke House led the Dragons with 18 points in the game.

Hofstra is 50-48 all-time against Drexel. The win by the Dragons last week ended a four-game win streak in the series by the Pride. The series is Hofstra's second-most played opponent all-time, only bested by Delaware (102).
