Izadora Stedile continued her incredible season as she posted 12 kills and 13 digs for her team-leading 11th double-double of the season as the Hofstra volleyball team easily dispatched of William & Mary in three sets on Friday afternoon at Kaplan Arena. Both totals were good for team-high honors.
Beatriz Braga was unstoppable offensively for the Pride as she tallied 11 kills with no errors for a .440 attack percentage in the match.Â
The win moved Hofstra's record to 14-8 overall and 10-3 in CAA play. William & Mary dropped to 8-14 and 4-9 in the league. Set scores were 25-21, 25-22, and 25-10. The Pride closed the match on a 9-0 scoring run.Â
Constanza Perez Sain added 10 kills, while
Beatriz Alves dished out 23 assists and chipped in with eight digs.
Chiara Cucco picked up 12 digs in the match.Â
Katherine Arnason led William & Mary with nine kills, while Amy Schwem had 14 assists and nine digs for the Tribe.Â
Hofstra and William & Mary will conclude the series on Saturday with first serve scheduled for 11 a.m.Â
