Hofstra Wraps Road Trip Sunday At William & Mary

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's soccer team returns to action Sunday afternoon in a Coastal Athletic Association contest at William & Mary. Kickoff from Williamsburg, Virginia, is set for 12 p.m. The game will be streamed live on FloFC with an audio-only broadcast available on the Hofstra Alternative Web Channel (HAWC) and live statistics also available. Hofstra (6-3-6, 4-2-2 CAA) is coming off a 2-1 loss at league-leading Elon Thursday night. The Pride spotted Elon a 1-0 lead before tying the game just before halftime on Hailey Moschitta's first career goal. However, the Phoenix scored the game winner just past the midway point of the second half.

William & Mary (8-8-0, 3-5-0 CAA) is coming off a 2-0 win Thursday night over Drexel. Ivey Crain had both goals for the Tribe, which is 4-4 at home this season.

This will be the 27th meeting between Hofstra and William & Mary with the Tribe holding a 13-9-4 advantage. The Tribe picked up a road win last season, 1-0.

Following Sunday's game, Hofstra will return home to close the regular season Thursday night (Oct. 24) against Monmouth. Kickoff at Captains Field is slated for 7 p.m.
