Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's soccer team will look to extend its two-game winning streak Thursday night at CAA-leading Elon. Kickoff from Rudd Field in Elon, North Carolina, is set for 7 p.m.. The game will be streamed live on FloFC with an audio-only broadcast available on the Hofstra Alternative Web Channel (HAWC) and live statistics also available. Links for all can be found above or on the women's soccer schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra (6-2-6, 4-1-2 CAA) is coming off a 2-0 win over Hampton this past Sunday behind goals from Mathilde Braithwaite and Gabriella Marte. Mackenzie Sullivan and Synne Danielsen combined on a shutout as the Pride defense limited the Lady Pirates to just one shot on goal. The win was Hofstra's second in a row, which marks the Pride's first winning streak of the season.

Elon (10-2-1, 5-2-0 CAA) sits atop the league standings with 15 points. The Phoenix are coming off a 3-0 loss at Charleston this past Sunday, which halted a two-game winning streak. Elon is undefeated at home this season at 5-0-1. Lydia Totten and Isa Murdock each lead the Phoenix with five goals, while Katie Bisgrove has seen the bulk of action in goal and has a 0.80 goals against average.

Hofstra owns an 8-2 record against Elon. The Pride won at home last season, 2-0, behind a brace from Aimee Hodgson.

Following Thursday's game, Hofstra will remain on the road for a Sunday afternoon (12 p.m.) matchup at William & Mary.
