No. 21 Hofstra Draws At No. 23 North Carolina State

Raleigh, NC - In a matchup of a pair of top 25 teams, No. 21 Hofstra and No. 23 North Carolina State played to a 1-1 draw at Dail Soccer Stadium. Jacob Woznicki scored for the Pride and goalkeeper Filippo Dadone made seven saves.

Hofstra moved to 9-3-2 on the season, while the Wolfpack is 5-2-5 following their third consecutive draw.

North Carolina State got on the board first as Hakim Karamoko dribbled the ball across the top of the box before sending a left-footed shot past a diving Dadone for a 1-0 lead at 23:49 mark. The Pride would answer 16 minutes later with a set piece goal as Jacob Woznicki sent in Teddy Baker's corner kick to tie the score at one.

Neither team would score in the second half, though both teams had chances. The Pride had three shots on goal in the final 45 minutes, while the Wolfpack sent six on target. Dadone was up to the task, as was North Carolina State Logan Erb, who finished with four saves.
