Pride Travels To Buies Creek For First Match-Up With Campbell

Boston, MA - The Hofstra men's basketball team will face Campbell on Saturday in the first-ever meeting between the schools in men's basketball. 

Tip off from Gore Arena is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Saturday's contest will air on FloHoops and WRHU will have an audio only broadcast available on the HAWC. Links to both, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the men's basketball schedule page at GoHofstra.com. 

Hofstra is 8-8 overall and 1-2 in CAA action following a narrow 71-68 loss at Northeastern on Thursday. The Pride roared back from a 19-point halftime deficit to take the lead in the second half but the Huskies were able to prevail down the stretch and earn the close victory. Tyler Thomas had 32 points, including 26 in the second half, in the contest. Jaquan Carlos added 13 points, five steals, and three assists. 

Campbell is 7-9 this season overall and also 1-2 in league play. The Fighting Camels dropped a 68-62 decision to Delaware on Thursday. Jasin Sinani had 19 points and nine rebounds for Campbell, which also got 15 points and five rebounds from Elijah Walsh. 

Saturday's game is the first-ever between Hofstra and Campbell in men's basketball.
