Hofstra Hosts William & Mary and Northeastern In Key CAA Games

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's soccer team, unbeaten in their last seven games, return home Thursday night to host undefeated William & Mary in a Coastal Athletic Association battle at Hofstra Soccer Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. The home stand continues Sunday with a 1 p.m. game versus Northeastern.

Both games will be live streamed on FloFC with an audio-only broadcasts courtesy of WRHU-FM (88.7). Live statistics will also be available. Links for each can be found above or on the women's soccer schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

The Pride enters Thursday with an overall record of 7-2-1 and a 4-0-1 mark in CAA play. The Pride are 6-0-1 in their last seven games and sit in a three-way tie for first place in the CAA with 13 points. Hofstra is coming off a 2-1 win at UNCW this past Sunday behind a game-winning goal from Mathilde Braithwaite late in the second half. 

William & Mary is 6-0-5 on the season and 3-0-2 in league action. The Tribe, which has 11 points in CAA play, posted a 2-0 victory over Elon in their last game. 

Hofstra is 9-12-4 all-time against William & Mary. The Tribe posted a 2-0 victory over Hofstra last season in Williamsburg, Virginia. 

Following Thursday's game, the Pride will remain at home for a Sunday contest against Northeastern. The Huskies are currently 5-2-3 overall and 3-0-2 in the CAA headed into a Thursday night matchup against Stony Brook. The Huskies also have 11 points in CAA action. Sunday's game will be a rematch of the last two CAA Championship games, both won by Hofstra.
