Hofstra Looks To Extend Win Streak Thursday Versus Drexel

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's soccer team will look to stay hot Thursday night when the Pride hosts Drexel in a Coastal Athletic Association game. Kick-off from Hofstra Soccer Stadium is set for 7 p.m.

Hofstra (4-2, 1-0 CAA) is currently on a three-game winning streak following a pair of 1-0 wins over Saint Joseph's and Campbell. The Pride's win streak is its longest since the 2021 season. Wiktoria Fronc has goals in three straight games, and graduate goalkeeper Skylar Kuzmich returned to the starting lineup versus Campbell and had one save in a shutout victory. 

Drexel is 4-3-1 overall and 0-1-1 in CAA play. The Dragons coming off a 2-2 tie at Northeastern this past Sunday. Annalena O'Reilly has been Drexel's top offensive threat, scoring four goals and adding an assist for nine points. Joella Chase (1.00 GAA) and Molly Piso (1.50 GAA) have split time in goal. 

Thursday's game will be streamed on FloFC with audio commentary provided by students from WRHU-FM. An audio only broadcast will also be available online and over the airwaves at 88.7 FM, as well as live statistics. 

Hofstra is 21-5-1 all-time against Drexel. The Dragons won the last meeting, 3-2, in Philadelphia on October 6, 2022. 

Following the game, Hofstra will play its first road CAA contest when it travels to local rival Stony Brook for a Sunday afternoon (2 p.m.) contest.
