Scoreless Draw For Hofstra and Dartmouth; Pride's Fourth Consecutive Tie

Hempstead, NY - Lilly Bailey made two first-half saves and the Hofstra defense limited Dartmouth to half its average shot total in a 0-0 draw Sunday at Captains Field. The draw was Hofstra's fourth in a row. Hofstra moved to 3-1-4 with the results, while the Big Green is 3-2-2. 

The evenly-matched contest saw both teams record nine shots. Hofstra put three on goal, though Dartmouth keeper Ola Goebel was up to the task and stopped all three. The Pride had a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.

The game marked the final non-conference contest for the Pride, who will open CAA play Thursday night at home against Elon. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.

Notes:
-The four draws in a row are a program record.
-Hofstra is 0-1-1 all-time versus Dartmouth.
-Dartmouth entered the game averaging nearly 18 shots and 2.5 goals per game. 
-Carly-Ann Dziewirz, Aimee Hodgson, and Olivia Pearse had Hofstra's three shots on goal.
