Farmingdale, NY - Hofstra shot a final round of 307 (+27) to finish 15th in the 15-team tournament as play concluded on Sunday at the Doc Gimmler hosted by St. John's at Bethpage Red Course.
Eugene Kang finished tied for 69th place in the 87 player field at 221 (+11) following a final round 76 (+6).
Jaxon Hummel finished 81st with a 231 (+21) following a final round 82 (+12).
Vincent Apostolico and
Joseph Giamanco finished tied for 82nd at 233 (+23). Apostolico shot a final round 77 (+7) and Giamanco shot a final round 78 (+8).
Gavin Clarke finished 85th with a 237 (+27) after a final round 76 (+6).
Columbia claimed the team championship at 811 (-29) and Saturday's second-place leader Harvard, dropped to third at 826 (-14) behind Georgetown at 824 (-16). Columbia's Nathan Han claimed the individual championship at 196 (-14) and DJ Francey and Wyatt McGovern rounded out the top three. Columbia's Francey finished second at 201 (-9) while McGovern, also from Columbia, finished third at 204 (-6).
Hofstra is back in action on Saturday, September 16 at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate in Kensington, Connecticut.
