Hofstra Plays At FDU Before Televised Home Opener Sunday

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's soccer team has two games this week beginning with a road game at FDU on Thursday night, August 31 at 7 p.m. The Pride then hosts Saint Joseph's Sunday September 3 at 1 p.m. in the 2023 home opener. That game will air on MSG Sportsnet as well as on FloFC

Hofstra (1-2) will be looking to get back in the win column Thurday after dropping a road game, 3-0, at Columbia on September 25. The Pride will be taking on a FDU side that is looking for its first win of the season after suffering four consecutive losses to start the season. FDU will live stream the game on NEC Front Row with live statistics also available. Hofstra's radio station, WRHU-FM (88.7) will also broadcast the game. Sunday's game against Saint Joseph's is part of a Hofstra Soccer Weekend with the men's team. The 2022 CAA Championship banner will be revealed prior to the game as the team celebrates the refurbished Hofstra Soccer Stadium, which now features a video board, European-style goals, and new turf. The Hawks are currently 0-2-2 with a Thursday night game at Lafayette.

Hofstra is undefeated (9-0-1) all-time against FDU and is 3-0 versus Saint Joseph's.
