Hofstra Softball Receives Easton/NFCA Academic Recognition

Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra softball team was honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), as 15 student-athletes earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2022-23 academic year.
 
Aliya Catanzarita, Kasey Collins, Meghan Giordano, Gianna Iaquinto, Angelina Ioppolo, Amanda Maffucci, Olivia Malinowski, Abby Meehan, Alanna Morse, Brianna Morse, Nikki Mullin, Annabella Pisapia, Becca Vaillancourt, Haley Venturini, and Kayla Wilson all received academic honors. Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors are presented to student-athletes who earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher during the 2022-23 academic year.
 
In addition to their 15 individual awards, the Hofstra softball team finished the academic year with the 11th-highest team grade point average in Division I with a 3.69 GPA.
