Capazario Shoots Even Par On Day Two Of CAA Championship

Beaufort, SC - Dino Capazario shot an even-par 72 Monday in the second round of the Colonial Athletic Association Championship at the Morgan River/Cotton Dike course at Dataw Island. The Pride remains in 10th-place after two rounds of the Championship. 

Capazario collected four birdies in his round and jumped five places to sit in a tie for 19th with a two-round 148 (+4). Vincent Apostolico had the Pride's second-best round of the day, shooting a 79 (+7). He is tied for 43rd at 160 (+16) and moved up two spots. Joseph Giamanco is also tied for 43rd following a second round 81 (+9). Taishi Shigaki is 47th at 163 (+19) following an 83 (+11) Monday. Jaxon Hummel is tied for 49th at 170 (+26) after an 86 (+14) in his second round. 

Hofstra shot a 315 (+27) Monday and has a two-round total of 631 (+55). UNCW leads the event with a two-round 562 (-14). The Seahawks also have the individual leader in Patrck Sparks, who is at 133 (-11) through 36 holes. He holds a six stroke lead over Charleston's Kieron van Wyk going into Tuesday's final round. 

The final round of the CAA Championship gets underway on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
