Hempstead, NY - Winners of five straight games and sporting a 6-2 overall record, the Hofstra men's basketball team will face another stiff road test on Saturday when it faces Saint Louis. 

Tip-off from Chaifetz Arena is scheduled for 2 p.m. local time.

The Pride picked up a solid road victory on Wednesday when it defeated Iona, 62-57, in one of its strongest defensive outings of the season. Darlinstone Dubar tallied his second consecutive double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaquan Carlos and Bryce Washington each added 11 points. 

Remarkably, Hofstra has now had at least a five-game winning streak in six consecutive seasons.

St. Louis is 5-5 this season and most recently dropped a narrow 75-69 decision to Drake on Wednesday. 

Saturday's game marks the first-ever between Hofstra and St. Louis in men's basketball.
