Bethlehem, PA - Keaton Kluever won all three of his matches by fall, including an upset of No. 11 Lewis Fernandez of Cornell in the 285-pound "B" final as Hofstra saw three wrestlers place first in their weight class bracket at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic Sunday at Freedom High School. Joining Kluever as bracket champions were Jurius Clark (157 "C") and Joe McGinty (165 "C").

The Pride also saw Dylan Ryder return to action for the first time since the 2020-21 season and place second at the 125-pound "B" bracket. Ryder scored a pair of major decisions in round robin action with a 13-3 victory over No. 20 Robert Howard of Penn State. 

Alex Turley (141 "E"), Jake Slotnick (165 "E), and Nikolas Miller (197 "C") each placed second, while Ross McFarland (174 "A") and Will Conlon (184 "C") finished third. Miller had a pair of tech fall victories in round robin action. 

Hofstra will return to action Sunday (Nov. 19), hosting No. 7 Ohio State at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. Match time is set for 4 p.m.
