Glen Cove, NY - Hofstra finished ninth at 939 (+99) at the Nassau Intercollegiate, hosted by LIU, Tuesday. Leading the Pride was
Joseph Giamanco, who finished tied for 30th out of the 57-player field.
Giamanco finished at 230 (+20) after a final round 80 (+10).
Eugene Kang finished tied for 37th, just four strokes behind Giamanco at 234 (+24) after shooting a final round 80 (+10).
Jaxon Hummel placed 45th after a final round 80 (+10) at 237 (+27).
Vincent Apostolico finished just two strokes behind Hummel and tied for 46th. Apostolico shot a final round 79 (+9) and finished at 239 (+29).
Gavin Clarke, playing as an individual, tied for 49th and finished at 242 (+32), while
Taishi Shigaki finished tied for 51st at 243 (+33).
Rhode Island's Bryson Richards took the inidividual title at 207 (-3), while Marcelo Mexsen from LIU came in second at 210 even par. LIU took the team title at 861 (+12). Rhode Island finished just five strokes behind them to place second at 866 (+26).
The Pride finish up their fall season Thursday, October 26, at the Adelphi Panther Invitational in Jericho, NY.
