Pride To Battle Blue Hens At the Mack On Saturday

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will conclude its short two-game home stand on Saturday when the Pride hosts Delaware.

Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Tickets are available by visiting HofstraTickets.com, calling (516) HOF-TIXX, or by stopping by the Hofstra Athletics Ticket Office in the lobby of the Mack Sports Complex during normal business hours.

The game will serve as Boy Scout Day at the Mack with special ticket deals available for Boy Scouts and their families. Contact the ticket office for more information.

In addition, Hofstra coaches and student-athletes will be supporting Coaches Cure CF. The mission of Coaches Cure CF is to promote and increase community awareness, to raise funds necessary to support Cystic Fibrosis (CF) research and to provide an ASSIST to those in need through the college basketball community, in furthering the mission to Cure CF.

The game will air on FloHoops and WRHU (88.7 FM) will have an audio-only broadcast available on the HAWC. Links to both can be found here and on the men's basketball schedule page at GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra won its third straight game and improved to 11-7 overall and 4-1 in Colonial Athletic Association play with a 77-57 rout of Monmouth on Wednesday evening.

Delaware is now 10-7 and 2-2 in the league. The Blue Hens defeated Towson, 72-59, on Wednesday night.

The Pride earned an 87-73 road win over Delaware in the first meeting between the teams this season back on December 29 in Newark. Aaron Estrada led the way for the Pride with 31 points.

Hofstra leads the all-time series with Delaware, 66-34. The Blue Hens are the Pride's most-played opponent all-time and the series began during the 1953-54 season with a 72-62 Hofstra win. Hofstra has won five straight in the series, 12 of the last 14 and 18 of the 21 meetings dating back to the 2014-15 season. The 100 all-time meetings rank first ahead of the Drexel (96) and Towson (75) series for the Pride.
