Hofstra To Host Princeton and Columbia To Complete Non-Conference Slate

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's soccer team begins a two-game stretch against Ivy League teams Thursday night when the Pride welcomes Princeton to Hofstra Soccer Stadium for a 7 p.m. kick-off. The Pride will then host Columbia Sunday at 1 p.m. in the final non-conference game of the season. 

Both games will be streamed live on FloFC with audio commentary provided by WRHU-FM. Live statistics will also be available for both contests. 

Hofstra enters the Princeton game with a record of 4-2-1 and is coming off a 1-0 loss to Oregon this past Sunday night. Thorhildur Thorhallsdotir leads the Pride with three goals and three assists, while Ellen Halseth has a pair of goals. Goalkeeper Skylar Kuzmich has a 0.86 goals against average and 19 saves.

Princeton is 4-2 on the season and is ranked seventh in the United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll. The Tigers are coming off a 4-1 win over George Mason this past Sunday. Heather MacNab paces the Princeton offense with four goals and an assist, while Pietra Tordin has added three goals. Tyler McCamey has seen the majority of time in goal for the Tigers and has a 1.40 goals against average and 13 saves. 

Columbia is 3-1-1 with a Thursday game against Seton Hall. 

Hofstra is 4-2 all-time versus Princeton and 10-4-2 all-time against Columbia.
