Hofstra starter Tristan Nemjo (0-5) hit the next batter, Ethan Baucom, and then walked Jac Croom to force in a pair of runs, John Newton followed with the biggest blow of the game, a grand slam to left center to make it 6-0. After another walk, Arendt hit a two-run homer to close out the scoring in the inning. The Seahawks would get three more runs in the fourth off reliever Cullen SantaMaria with Baucom driving in two with a home run.
