Bloomfield, CT – Savannah Weyrauch is tied for 10th and Hofstra is in third place as a team following the first round of the University of Hartford/Wintonbury Hills Invitational Saturday at the Wintonbury Hill Golf Course.

Weyrauch shot a 77 (+7) and is in a five-way tie for 10th place. Emmah Federman is in a six-way tie for 15th place at 78 (+8), while Cynthia Zhao is tied for 21st at 79 (+9). Claire Galante shot an 82 (+12) and is 29th in the 52-player field. Mai Takahashi is tied for 41st place after an opening round 85.

Paige Diecidue of Manmouth is in first place following a 73 (+3) in the first round. Jessie Kweon (St. John's) and Elena Lopez (Quinnipiac) are tied for second at 75 (+5).

Monmouth is the team leader at 303 (+23). St. John's is second at 305 (+25), while Hofstra is third at 316 (+36). Wagner is fourth at 317 (+37), LIU is sixth at 318 (+38), Holy Cross is sixth at 330 (+50), and Siena is seventh at 331 (+51).

The final round gets underway Sunday morning.
