Hofstra slipped to 4-5 on the season with its third consecutive loss. George Washington improved to 5-8 and extended its win streak to two games.
The Colonials three-run third began with Tim Nicholson getting hit by a pitch and taking second on a wild pitch. George Washington would then score its third run on a fielder's choice grounder from Cade Fergus that plated Micheletti. Â Â
