Hofstra Ties For 12th At Lehigh Invitational

Bethlehem, PA - Hofstra finished in a three-way tie for 12th-place and Dino Capazario tied for 19th as play concluded at the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club Saturday.

Hofstra tied with Bryant and Monmouth in the 15-team field at 626 (+50). St. John's won the team title at 571 (-5).

Capazario finished with a two-round score of 149 (+5) to tie for 19th in the 78-player field. Joseph Giamanco was the Pride's next best finisher, tying for 38th at 154 (+10). Taishi Shigaki was 72nd with a 163 (+19), while Jaxon Hummel shot 166 (+22) to place 74th. Tyler Barbaro had a two-round 168 (+24) for a 75th-place finish. Barbaro had the Pride's second lowest score of the round with a 77 (+5).

Lehigh's Yuxuan Song was the individual medalist with a 139 (-5). Jack Simon of St. John's was second at 140 (-4).

Hofstra is back in action Monday and Tuesday at the Nassau Invitational at Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove.
