Though Hofstra was limited to just nine points in the second frame, the Pride closed the half with a good amount of momentum as Knight dribbled up the court with 4.3 seconds on the clock and hit an impressive off-balance three-point bank shot buzzer beater with her non-dominant hand, cutting the Hofstra deficit to eight points, 29-21 at the break.
Ineza and Henry hit two-straight baskets for Hofstra to bring things within four points, 29-25 just over a minute into the third quarter, but the Huskies managed to extend the lead back out to 10 with a 6-0 run. Markisic brought it back within five with five-straight points by herself, but Northeastern used a 12-5 run to close the quarter to begin to pull away from Hofstra.
The Huskies pulled out to a 58-39 lead at the 6:43 mark in the fourth, but Hofstra didn't go away as the Pride scored six of the next eight points.
