Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team is slated to battle Towson to close out another Colonial Athletic Association road trip. Tip-off at SECU Arena in Towson, Md. on Sunday, January 30 is at 2 p.m.

Jaylen Hines ordered up one of her best performances of the year with a season-high 22 points, matched her season-high of 13 rebounds, and added three assists and one steal. Hines shot 57-percent from the field (8-of-14) and 6-of-6 from the free throw line. The performance was her second double-double of the season and 13th of her career. Hines increased her season scoring average to 12.6 points per game and her rebounding average to 7.2 per game, leading all active Hofstra players in both of those categories.
Towson, who currently sits at third place in the CAA, owns a 14-4 overall record and 5-2 CAA mark. ON Friday evening, the Tigers claimed a 86-81 victory over Northeastern. Four Tigers finished in double figures including Aleah Nelson (24 points), Allie Kubek (22), Kylie Kornegay-Lucas (15) and Rayne Tucker (11). Kubek also led the team in rebounds with 11, finishing with a double-double for Towson. Nelson (16.5 ppg) and Kubek (16.4 ppg) are the top two scorers for Towson while Anissa Rivera follows with 11.6 points per contest.
Towson holds a slight advantage in the all-time series over Hofstra, 39-36. Hofstra dropped both regular season meetings to the Tigers last season, 65-60 and 92-64.
