Bloomfield, CT - Hofstra shot a team score of 326 (+38) and is in sixth-place after the first round of the Hartford Hawks Invitational at Gillette Ridge Golf Club.

Savannah Weyrauch and Mai Takahashi were Hofstra's top scorers in round one, with both shooting an 81 (+9) to sit in a tie for 19th-place in the 49-player field. Maya Torpey and Claire Galante each recorded an 82 (+10) and are tied for 24th-place. Emmah Federman posted an 84 (+12) to round out the Pride's team effort. Federman is tied for 34th. Hannah Morello, making her debut as an individual entrant, is in 47th-place following a 97 (+25).

Sacred Heart's Margot Rouquette is the individual leader at 71 (-1). Merrimack's Ada Pan is second at 72 (E).

Merrimack is the team leader at 301 (+13). Sacred Heart is second at 309 (+21) with Siena third at 313 (+25). Fairfield is fourth at 323 (+35) followed by Hartford at 325 (+37) and Hofstra. Monmouth rounds out the seven-team field at 328 (+40).

The final round of the invitational takes place Sunday.
