Hempstead, NY - Senior forward Miri Taylor of the Hofstra women's soccer team was voted the GoHofstra.com Student-Athlete of the Week via a fan poll on the Hofstra Pride Twitter page. This marks Taylor's second GoHofstra.com Student-Athlete of the Week honor.

Taylor racked up eight points during Hofstra's 2-0 week with wins over Bucknell and Princeton. She scored three goals and two assists, including one goal and one assist in Hofstra's 2-0 win against Bucknell and two goals and one assist in Hofstra's dominat 4-0 victory over Yale. 

Taylor has recorded at least one point in all eight matches this season so far, and now ranks first in the nation in total points (21), is fourth in total goals, and is fifth in points per game (2.62).

This week, Taylor was also named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week.
