Hempstead, NY - James M. Shuart Stadium at Hofstra University continued to showcase itself as the finest lacrosse facility in the nation as this weekend the facility hosted the Premier Lacrosse League and a schedule of five games over three days. 

Shuart Stadium saw thousands of fans enter the facility and a national television and streaming audience tune in on NBC, NBC Sports, or Peacock. 

Friday's game featured the Chrome defeating the Archers, 8-7. In Saturday's doubleheader, the Redwoods defeated the Waterdogs, 19-16, and the Chaos earned a 14-10 win over the Cannons. The final day, Sunday, would see the Whipsnakes defeat the Archers, 15-14, and the Atlas dominate the Chrome, 16-10. 

Six different Hofstra alumni saw action during the weekend of games. The Redwoods featured Finn Sullivan ('16) and Kevin Unterstein ('08) on the roster, Josh Byrne ('17) is a member of the Chaos, Ryan Tierney ('21) suited up for the Whipsnakes, Jack Concannon ('18) started in net for the Atlas, and Steven DeNapoli ('11) is a captain for the Waterdogs. Pride alumni went 4-1 this weekend with the lone loss in a game that featured Hofstra graduates on both benches.
