Harrisonburg, VA - Hofstra women's track junior
Sophia Masciarelli set a new school record for the outdoor 10,000m as the Pride concluded the first day at the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday afternoon from Sentara Park on the James Madison University campus.
A native of Northbridge, Massachusetts, Masciarelli clocked in at 37:33.83, placing her ninth in the 10,000m. Senior
Mie Hoff also ran for Hofstra in the first day of the CAA Championships. The Norwegian distance runner competed in the 1500m preliminaries and finished 17th overall with a time of 4:57.7 in the first heat.
Sophomore
Jordyn McDonnell will run for the Pride in the 3000m Steeplechase in Day Two of the 2021 CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She will run at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 1.
