Hofstra continues to boast one of the most threatening offenses in the nation as the Pride still rank first in all of NCAA Division I in points per game (11.14), while Bryan (2nd - 3.14), Lucy Porter (4th - 2.57), and Miri Taylor (T15 - 2.00) all rank in the top-15 individually in the same category. Goalkeeper Skylar Kuzmich has been tested during her last two appearances as well and she has made seven saves in her last two appearances.

Towson enters the match with a 2-3-2 overall record with a 1-2-0 mark in the North division of the CAA. The Tiger's last three contests have been decided with a 1-0 score, as Towson dropped two-straight extra-time bouts to Drexel (2 OT) and Northeastern (1-0) before earning its first division victory of the season over Delaware on Sunday, April 4. Nia Christopher leads the Tigers with three points this season, while five other Tigers have two points. Riley Melendez has played every minute in goal for the Tigers and boasts a 0.857 save rate and 0.65 goals against average.

Hofstra holds an all-time record of 22-3-1 against Towson and is on an eight-game winning streak against the Tigers. Last season, Hofstra defeated Towson on the road, 5-1.
