Cameron Waltman had the low round of the day for Hofstra, shooting a 79 (+7), as the Pride remained in seventh place after the second round of the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association Championship at the Grandover Resort.
Waltman cut 11 strokes off of her first round score and moved up to 32nd place with a two-round 169 (+25). Freshman
Savannah Weyrauch is the top Hofstra player on the leader board, sitting in a tie for 28th place at 167 (+23). Weyrauch shot an 84 (+12) during Monday's round.
Emmah Federman shot an 86 (+14) Monday and is in 31st place at 168 (+24).
Averee Dovsek carded a 90 (+18) and is 34th at 183 (+39).
Hofstra has a team score of 687 (+111) and is seventh in the seven-team field. Charleston leads the team standings with a 593 (+17) with James Madison in second place at 609 (+33). Delaware is third at 618 (+42) followed by Elon at 628 (+52). Towson is fifth at 630 (+54) while William & Mary is sixth at 647 (+71).
Charleston's Viktoria Hund sits atop the player leader board at an even par 144. Teammate Victoria Huskey is second at 147 (+3). Both Cougar players shot 68 (-4) Monday.
Final round play of the CAA Championship gets underway at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
