Lucy Porter added to her accolades this week as she was recognized twice nationally. Porter was named to the College Soccer News Division I Team of the Week and was an honorable mention on Top Drawer Soccer's National Team of the Week.
Porter tallied two goals including the game-winning goal in double overtime against Boston College, lifting Hofstra to a 2-1 victory over the Eagles. With the two-goal effort, Porter moved into fourth all-time in career goals at Hofstra with 37 and she is one point shy of tying for third all-time in career points (88).
Earlier this week, Porter was named the Colonial Athletic Association Co-Offensive Player of the Week. This is the second time that Porter was named to the College Soccer News Team of the Week.
The Pride return to action on Sunday, March 21 when they continue CAA action against Northeastern University at the Hofstra Soccer Stadium beginning at 1:00 p.m.
