Lakewood, NJ - Hofstra placed fifth overall and
Cameron Waltman recorded a top 10 finish as play concluded at the Fall Hawk Invitational hosted by Monmouth at Eagle Ridge Golf Club.
The Pride shot a final round 343 (+55) and finished with a two-round score of 692 (+116). Monmouth won the team title at 638 (+62) with Holy Cross in second at 641 (+65). La Salle was third 681 (+105), followed by St. Francis (PA) in fourth at 685 (+109). Mount St. Mary's was sixth at 705 (+129).
Waltman, who was tied for third after round one, slipped to 10th-place after a final round 87 (+15) gave her a two-day 167 (+23). The top 10 finish was her second this fall and the 11th of her career.
Savannah Weyrauch shot an 83 (+11) Sunday and moved up seven places to tie for 15th at 171 (+27).
Claire Galante shot an 86 (+14) and moved up three places to tie for 19th at 174 (+30).
Emmah Federman carded an 87 (+15) Sunday and finished 29th at 182 (+38). Federman jumped five places from round one to two.
Mai Takahashi withdrew from the tournament Sunday and finished 38th.
Monmouth's Ava Lozito posted a second consecutive even par 72 to win the individual title at 144 (E). Holy Cross' Ellie De Andrade was second at 154 (+10).
The Pride will wrap up their fall schedule at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic on October 24-25.
