Masciullo has compiled an impressive 3.97 grade point average while majoring in mathematical business economics with a minor in management. She was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-America second team in 2019 and was a CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree for the third time. A Provost's and Dean's List student, Masciullo is a seven-time member of the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. A native of La Spieza, Italy, Masciullo was also a nominee for the Senior CLASS Award in volleyball. She is a dual degree candidate, pursuing a BS in mathematical business economics at Hofstra, and a BBA in global business from the Dongbei University of Finance and Economics.

Masciullo also earned the academic excellence in economics award from the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in October.  The academic excellence awards are presented annually in the fall to students who will be graduating in December of that year or May or August of the following year for outstanding work in their respective majors.
