Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team began preparations for the 2019-20 campaign with the start of preseason practices. 

Hofstra will look to build upon its record-setting 2018-19 season in which the program won a school-record 27 games, captured the regular season Colonial Athletic Association crown and advanced to the National Invitation Tournament. 

The Pride get the season underway on Wednesday, November 6 when it hosts San Jose State at 7 p.m. at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
