Hempstead, NY - Four of the best teams in the country are headed to Hempstead, New York, this Saturday, May 18 for the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship Quarterfinals at Hofstra University's James M. Shuart Stadium. Games are scheduled for 12 and 2:30 p.m.
First round victories by #2 Duke, #3 Virginia, #7 Notre Dame and unseeded Maryland will send these four outstanding squads to Hofstra for the NCAA Championship Southern Quarterfinals. Tickets can be purchased at HofstraTickets.com, by calling (516) HOF-TIXX or visiting the Hofstra Athletics Box Office in the lobby of the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. The box office is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The Cavaliers of Virginia (14-3) will square off against the Terrapins of Maryland (12-4) in the first game at noon while the Blue Devils of Duke (12-4) will face the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame (9-6) in the second game at approximately 2:30 p.m.
In first round action, Virginia defeated Robert Morris, 19-10, Duke edged Richmond, 12-11, Maryland topped Towson in overtime, 14-13, and Notre Dame defeated Johns Hopkins, 16-9.
Reserved chairback seats, while they last, are priced at $40. General admission seating is $30 for adults and $20 for youth/students/seniors (62+). Reserved parking passes are also on sale for $20 (one per every four tickets ordered), with north campus parking available for $15 on game day.

Reserved parking on the south side of campus (closest to Shuart Stadium) WILL sell out soon so we urge you to purchase your tickets and reserved parking passes today. There will be additional parking located on Hofstra's north campus and Shuart Stadium will be easily accessible using the pedestrian bridge located at the intersection of Hempstead Turnpike, Earle Ovington Boulevard and Uniondale Avenue.
Hofstra University, which is hosting the NCAA Championship Quarterfinals for the 11th time, is one of the two sites for the 2019 NCAA Championship Quarterfinals, with Fairfield University hosting the Northern Quarterfinal at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut on Sunday, May 19. The eventual national champion has come through Hofstra in seven of the previous 10 quarterfinals. Hofstra will host the quarterfinals through 2022.
