Minneapolis, MN - The Colonial Athletic Association team of MVP and Hofstra star Justin Wright-Foreman, Jarrell Brantley, Devontae Cacok and Vasa Pusica claimed the 2019 Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship on Sunday afternoon at Mall of America, defeating the West Coast Conference 21-13.

In front of approximately 2,000 fans surrounding the four levels of the Mall of America Rotunda and an ESPN2 national audience, the Colonial used a balanced perimeter and inside game to overwhelm its opponents throughout the Tournament. The quartet, who each were named First-Team All-Conference performers at the end of the regular season, posted a perfect 7-0 record and outscored their opponents by 43 points in that stretch. 

Wright-Foreman, the Old El Paso MVP of the 2019 Tournament, was 5 of 6 from the field, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc, to finish with 10 points in the championship game. Brantley had eight points, and his two late free throws clinched the Tournament title for the Colonial. Including $1,000 for each of their three pool play wins, Wright-Foreman, Brantley, Cacok and Pusica will share $103,000. They have also earned the right to compete in the 2019 USA Basketball 3x3 Open National Championship in Las Vegas next month.

During the three days of competition at the Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship, Mall of America welcomed more than 400,000 visitors, with thousands regularly stopping by the Rotunda to catch many of the Tournament's 64 games. Additionally, viewers around the world were eager to follow the action as the event generated more than seven million live views on Twitter.
