Stony Brook, NY – The new Hofstra University Women's Outdoor Track team made its debut on Saturday, March 23 as the Pride competed in the Stony Brook University Snow Flake Spring Opener in Suffolk County. Here are the Pride highlights from their inaugural meet.
 
- In the 100-meter run, Sara Bornstein placed ninth in 14:50, Lindsay Malings was 11th in 15:11 and Jamie Kanner was 12th in 15:45.

- In the 300-meter run, Madison Warfel was 14th in 50:57 and Frankie O'Brien was 15th in 56.27.

- In the 600-meter run, Alyssa Suits was 15th in 2:04.90.

- In the 1500-meter run, Megan Boese was 12th in 5:39.79.

- In the 3000-meter run, Sophia Masciarellli was 5th in 10:52.88.

- In the long jump, Alex Cianciolo placed 8th with a jump of 14' 3.75" and Valerie Pierre placed 10th with a jump of 12' 0.5"
