It has been a remarkable three years so far in the career of
Alyssa Parrella as she enters her final season in a Hofstra uniform having already broken the program record for goals (189) and points (261), while ranking fourth in assists (72) and eighth in draw controls (130).
She joined an elusive club this past May when she was named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-American, becoming only the ninth in program history. The CAA Player of the Year in 2019, the second in program history, Parrella was also the 2017 CAA and ECAC Rookie of the Year and has been named to the All-CAA first team in each of her first three seasons with the Pride.
Her career totals already rank sixth all-time in CAA history in goals and points and last season as a junior she posted 85 goals to set the program's single season record and in addition that total ranks 20th all-time in NCAA history. Parrella's spectacular career has seen her single season point totals rank first, third, and fourth in program history and her junior and sophomore year goal totals rank first and second.
