OPENING KICKOFF
The top-seeded Hofstra University Women's Soccer Team is set to take on the No. 5 seeded Elon Phoenix in the CAA Semifinal at the Hofstra Soccer Stadium. Match time against the Phoenix is set for 1 p.m. Hofstra is making its third-straight CAA semifinal appearance while Elon is making its first-ever league semifinal appearance.

ABOUT THE HOFSTRA PRIDE
The Hofstra Pride (13-3-2, 7-0-2 CAA) are entering the CAA tournament coming off a very successful regular season. The team nearly swept all CAA major awards, as Sabrina Bryan was named the Attacking Player of the Year, Lucy Porter was named the Midfielder of the year, Anja Suttner earned Co-Defender of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors, and head coach Simon Riddiough was named the CAA Coach of the Year. Hofstra has the most threatening offense in the league, led by Porter, sophomore Miri Taylor and Bryan who rank first, second and third in the CAA in points, respectively. Defensively, Suttner, a leader on the Hofstra back line, as well as freshman goalkeeper Skylar Kuzmich, will look to anchor a defensive unit that has allowed just 0.95 goals per game during conference action.
