Tulsa, OK - The Hofstra doubles team of
Alejandra Ruffini and
Katherine Kachkarov went 0-2 at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships Monday. The pair were the first Hofstra women's tennis players to ever compete in a national ITA-sanctioned event.
In their qualifying match, Ruffini and Kachkarov lost to Tereza Janatova and Anna Vrbenska of Mississippi, 8-3. The pair then played a consolation match against Isabelle Boulais and Danielle Wolf from Ohio State and fell, 8-4.
