Towson, MD - It what is starting to feel like a storybook season, the Hofstra Men's Basketball team will head to Towson for its next Colonial Athletic Association contest on Saturday after extending the nation's longest win streak to 15 games on Thursday in a win over James Madison.

Eli Pemberton drained a 90-foot shot at the first half buzzer to put his name in Hofstra lore forever. The Pride went on to capture an 85-68 victory.
Tip-off from SECU Arena is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday between the Pride and the Tigers.

The 17-point win over the Dukes pushed the win streak to 15 as Pemberton finished with 20 points and a team-high eight rebounds for Hofstra, while senior
Justin Wright-Foreman tallied 23 points to lead the way. Senior
Desure Buie posted nine points and six assists and junior
Tareq Coburn chipped in with 14 points for the Pride.
In addition to extending the nation's longest win streak, Hofstra improved to 18-3 overall and 8-0 in CAA play. The Pride's six straight wins away from home is tied for the longest current road win streak.
Wright-Foreman is averaging 26 points per game to lead the Pride, while Pemberton has been exceptionally strong of late and is second on the team with 15.5 points per game. Pemberton is averaging more than 23 points per contest over the Pride's last three games. Buie leads Hofstra with 5.1 assists per game and graduate student
Jacquil Taylor is pulling down a team-best 7.8 rebounds per contest.
Towson earned a big 75-72 win over preseason CAA favorite Northeastern on Thursday to up its record to 7-14 overall and 3-5 in conference action. Brian Fobbs led the Tigers with 18 points and eight rebounds and Jordan McNeil posted 12 points for the Tigers. Fobbs is the lone Tiger in double figures with 16 points per game, while Tobias Howard is second with 9.7 points per outing. Dennis Tunstall leads Towson with 7.9 rebounds per game and Howard is averaging 2.7 assists per game to lead the team.
Hofstra is 41-26 all-time against Towson in a series that began during the 1982-83 season. Hofstra swept the season series a year ago, winning by 15 at home and earning a three-point victory at Towson as sophomore
Jalen Ray drained a three-pointer at the buzzer for the 76-73 win. The Pride has won five of the last seven meetings in the series. The Hofstra/Towson series, which began with an 86-71 Pride victory, is the Pride's third-most common series in program history. The 67 all-time meetings ranks only behind Delaware (89) and Drexel (88).
