Bethlehem, PA – Hofstra Women's Cross Country senior
Felicia Banda placed 48th in the field of 364 to lead the Pride to a 39th place finish at the Paul Short Run 6K Brown race at Lehigh University Saturday afternoon.
Banda, a native of Westminster, Massachusetts, posted a time of 22:51 to place 48th. Banda led the Pride in all of the team's races in 2017. Canisius senior Siobhan Quinn won the race in 21:02.
Hofstra freshman
Sophia Masciarelli placed 50th in 22:52 as the Pride's second runner. Senior
Alli Bacher placed 339th in 26:34, sophomore
Megan Boese finished 348th in 26:53 and classmate Alyssa Suits placed 364 in 33:30.
In the final team standings, Siena finished first with 109 points with Shippensburg second with 280 points and Boston University was third with 281 points. The Pride ran five runners and placed 39th as a team with 976 points in the 44-team race.
The Pride return to action on Friday, October 12 at the Princeton University Invitational.
